Get To Know The Team - Courtney

Hi, I’m Courtney, and I’m part of the Doherty Group Customer Service team & Procurement Admin, so I’m the person behind the emails, phone calls and everything in between when our customers need a hand!

I joined Doherty Group only three months ago, but before joining the company, my career had always been closely connected to animals and agriculture. I previously worked as a Veterinary Nurse, which gave me a real passion for animal health and welfare.

I’m particularly proud to be part of a company whose products play an important role in animal comfort, hygiene and welfare. Having experience both as a Veterinary Nurse and from working around dairy cattle, I can appreciate the difference that good animal care can make, and it’s rewarding to be involved with a company that shares those values.

What do you enjoy most about working at Doherty Group?

The team! The office culture is everything you could ever wish for. Everyone enjoys their work and is always happy to help. We enjoy a little sweet treat together and can always have a laugh!

One of the things I enjoy most about working here is that it feels like a natural fit for me personally. It’s lovely to now be part of a company where that passion is shared and where the work we do has a genuine purpose.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love to head down to Portrush for a wee roasted coffee and walk my dog Ollie along the East Strand.

Tea or coffee?

Tea in the office, but a takeaway coffee any day!

If you were stranded on a desert island with one colleague, who would it be?

Definitely David! He would bring the laughs and be able to survive easily!

If the office had awards, what would you win?

Top snack provider, I think!
