Surface Topping:

Cost-effective, fully biodegradable, completely natural, and shock absorbent – wood chips can offer a low cost surfacing solution for cattle tracks, horse menages, walkways and more. Thanks to the readily available nature of wood chips, large quantities can be acquired to cover large areas with ease.

Wood chips can also offer a solution to wet, muddy patches in gardens or fields. For example, an inch or more of wood chip around horse/cattle/sheep feeding troughs can prevent further soil compaction and tearing.
